In case you haven’t seen on Instagram, I am mildly obsessed with my newest kitchen gadget - the Ninja DualZone Double Basket Air Fryer! From getting dinner on the table to heating up leftovers, this thing is truly amazing! With no preheat time, and less kitchenwares to use (or clean), it streamlines all my meal prep and cook time in the best possible way.
Since I’m still new to the Air Fryer game, I decided to consolidate the yummiest looking recipes I can’t wait to try. Also, a friend (@the.food.allergy.mom) has a SUPER easy, GF, and allergy-friendly 3-ingredient meatball recipe that did beautifully in the AF! I’ll be sharing that as well - enjoy!
French Fries from Delish - all GF kids get bummed when they have to miss out on cross-contaminated french fries, so what better recipe to master than fries in your own home!
Chicken Parm also from Delish - I love the idea of making this in one tray,
and roasting up some veggies in the other for a complete dinner in no time. Of course, make sure the flour and breadcrumbs are GF.
Honey Mustard Salmon from Fabulously Frugal - I keep hearing how amazing fish (and salmon specifically) does in the AF. I can’t wait to try this one!
Crunchy Chili Spiced Chickpeas from Delish - I make roasted chickpeas all the time and my kiddos love them. Instead of spending close to $10 a bag, or waiting for my oven to heat up, these can be done in about 10 minutes!
Broccoli Ranch Tots from Delish - Someone told me they eat way more veggies now with the ease of the AF, and these will certainly be up next.
Spinach and Artichoke Stuffed Chicken Breast from Delish - Not unlike Chicken Parm, I love the idea of having such a compete meal paired with something simple like roasted veggies or rice. Just make sure the breadcrumbs are GF.
Buffalo Cauliflower from Delish - With hints of football season on the horizon, this sounds like a great snack for watching the big game (or the favorite kiddo movie).
Chicken Tenders from Delish - Like Fries at #1, this just seems like a good one to master for the GF kids in the house! Be sure to use GF flour and breadcrumbs. FWIW, tossing pre-made frozen GF tenders in the AF is an absolute breeze.
Chicken and Broccoli from Eat Better Recipes - Another one and done recipe for a filling family meal, with perhaps a quick side of AF roasted potatoes, or rice! Be sure to use Tamari or a GF soy sauce (we love Bragg Amino Acids).
Crispy Cod from MomsDish - Since I keep hearing about how great fish cooks in the AF and I love white fish, I’m going to try this recipe for my whole family.
Last but not least is the simplest, easiest, yummiest 3-ingredient-no-recipe-recipe from @the.food.allergy.mom. I made this today for lunch and it was about 5 minutes of prep time and 10 minutes of cook time. Easy, breezy and a huge hit with the kids!
1 pound ground meat
1/4 cup tomato sauce
1/3 cup parm cheese or cheese alternative
Spices of choice, such as salt, pepper, garlic powder or oregano
Mix into 2 inch meatballs, and air fry on 350 for 10 minutes. Be sure not to stack the meatballs. As with roasting, you don’t want to crowd your food. You may need to work in batches, or use both baskets. I always check meat with a meat thermometer to make sure they’re at least 165 degrees! Enjoy!
