Great interview! One of the most frustrating things about living with celiac disease is worrying about medication. No pharmacist ever knows the answer when I ask if something has gluten in it. I hope this bill gets passed!
This is such an important issue, and I hope the bill will pass. I’m gluten intolerant, but my sister is severely so, and finding non-contaminated medicine can be a challenge. Brands like Claritin and Motrin are thankfully pretty safe (and they’re transparent on their websites), and Equate brand also seems to have some options (using their website rather than the labels in store, since these of course don’t ever mention gluten). Hopefully this bill will pass so that people with allergies and severe intolerances can take the medicines they need without worrying they will get sick.

Hi Dahlia - I do not know! The antibiotics could have had something else in it, since Adina has other allergies. Sorry I don't have the answer!
